Application Process
Candidates must submit a completed scholarship application, an official high school transcript or current Penn State transcript, and a letter of recommendation. Applications must be postmarked by April 15, 2011 and mailed to the assigned Penn State Scholarship Committee member listed on the cover letter to your school’s Guidance Department.

Dear Guidance Counselor:
The Penn State Alumni Association Southern New Jersey Chapter is offering a total of four scholarships to students who have been accepted and will enroll at one of the campuses of Pennsylvania State University in the fall of 2011.
The first two scholarships from the Parent/Gajecki Scholarship Fund are available for students from any of the five counties in southern New Jersey. These counties are Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem. The primary scholarship is for approximately $2400, and the secondary scholarship is for approximately $1200.
The third scholarship is the Michael Delo Scholarship. It is for students who are residents of either Burlington, Camden, or Gloucester County. The scholarship is for $1000.
The fourth scholarship is the Fellner/Ungvarsky Scholarship . It is for students, who are residents of either Burlington, Camden, or Gloucester county. The scholarship is for $1000.
Those students with superior academic records and community service who indicate promise of a successful collegiate career at Penn State should apply. Financial need will also be an important criterion.
