Penn State Alumni Association - Southern New Jersey

The Penn State – Southern New Jersey Chapter will be hosting its Annual Scholarship Fundraiser / Football Game Fun Day Saturday, November 21st at 3:30 PM at the Cherry Hill P.J. Whelihan’s. This event will be in coordination with the Penn State football game against Michigan State.

The cost is $15 per person and will include a buffet of wings, mozzarella sticks, chips, etc, plus beer and drink specials ($2 Coors Light, $2.50 Blue Moon, and $6 tall mixed drinks with any "Three OLIVE" vodka).

The Homecoming Game bus trip is sold out. All bus ticket holders must arrive at the Moorestown Boscov's parking lot by 8:00 AM sharp. The date of course is Saturday October 17th.

2009 Freshman Send Off Picnic

Sunday August 9th, the Southern New Jersey Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association will hold its annual Freshman Send-Off Picnic at Laurel Acres Park in Mount Laurel, NJ. Picnic will be held 1 PM – 5 PM.

Students and their families from Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties in this year’s incoming PSU freshman class are invited to join us for a day of fun, food, and Penn State camaraderie. Students going to any of the Penn State campuses are welcome.

There is great news from the Penn State Alumni Association. For the fifth year in a row, your Chapter received a "Group of Distinction Award"! Your Chapter is in the upper tier of alumni affiliate groups. We received this award as a result of your efforts and the programs and events that have been held by your Chapter.

By having regular meetings of the Board of Directors, social events, recruiting events, football bus trips, and one of the longest running philanthropic programs, your Chapter met and exceeded the requirements set by the PSU Alumni Association.
